When the banquet becomes a catwalk, 60 throats blare out 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', filet of venison, salmon tartar and truffle Brussel sprouts provide for culinary highlights, and the last of the revellers go home at six in the morning to freshen up for work - then we did a good job, and it was a legendary party.
